Dee Pliskin Congress passes away on August 5, 2008
1961 Classmate Dee Pliskin Congress passed away at home on Sanibel Island, Florida after a lengthy bout with cancer on August 5, 2008. After high school, she attended the University of Miami . Dee was married to Larry Congress for 46 years. She and Larry founded Congress Jewelers in Sanibel, Florida in 1982. She is also survived by four children, Scot, Doug, Juli and Brad and nine grandchildren plus two brothers, Barry Pliskin and John Pliskin

I am sorry to hear about Dee’s passing. She was in many of my classes. I do not know how many of you even remember me because I left school in my Junior year and graduated later, but I have always felt a part of this class. I went all the way through school with many of you. I live in Port Charlotte, Florida and am not that far from where Dee lived. I found out about this site a few months ago and joined it. It is good to get news about my former classmates. I would appreciate it if you could put me on the mailing list for reunions or any other thing you might send out announcemenrs for.
