EHS 1961 Classmate Cecil Hansborough passed away May 26th, 2015 at Valley View Nursing Home.
Cecil is survived by his daughters, Karen Brown of Washington, D.C., DaVona Hansborough of Atlanta and Carla Thomas of Elkhart; sons, Kenneth Haynes of Maryland, Terrence Thomas of Elkhart, Ryan Clark of Fort Wayne, Jason Schmatz of Indianapolis, Tyrese Hansborough of Elkhart, Credel McKnight of Elkhart and Tyran Hansborough of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances Anderson and Linda Freeman, both of Elkhart; and brother Edward G. Hansborough of Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers William M. and Gregory L. Hansborough.
Cecil proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He was a machine operator with Syndicate Systems. Cecil was a member of St. James AME Church and the VFW Post 9933.
