Moe Jacobsen sent me the following e-mail and ask me to share with the class. Moe has taken on the task of raising money for a paver to be installed at the Wellfield Botanic Garden for the GREAT EHS class of 1961 !!
Hi Ellen,
Thank you for posting the paver info in The Blog.
We’ve had a great response so far: 27 of us have raised a total of $795.00 towards our goal of $1100.00.
At the “Class of ’61 Executive Committee” meeting this last Thursday, it was decided that the paver would read:
“Once A Blazer, Always A Blazer EHS Class of 1961” There will be a graphic of the Blue Blazer.
Wellfield Botanic will install the paver in the spring of 2020. I wonder if we want to have a dedication ceremony with classmates?
We’re almost there. When you can, would you provide this information to our classmates via The Blog and encourage those who would like to participate in this venture to send a check payable to Wellfield Botanic Garden in the amount of $25.00.
