Janet S. Shrock, 78 of Elkhart died Saturday, July 3,2021 at her home. She was born December 14th, 1942 in Elkhart to the late Robert and Ethel ( King) Surls. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bill Surls.
She is survived by her husband Fred Schrock of Elkhart, two daughters: Kim (Kevin ) Foy of Elkhart and Cynthia (David Brevard of Bristol: three stepchildren: Beth ( Al ) Witkowski, Gail ( Jim ) Davies and Scott Shrock. Also surviving Janet are her two sisters: Judy McMeekan and Betty (Jerry ) Coker…as well as her 10 grandchildren.
Janet graduated from Elkhart High School in 1961. She worked many years at Shrock Manufacturing, INC. as a corporate secretary. When she wasn’t working, she was out enjoying the game of golf. Janet was a member of the Bent Oak Ladies Golf Association as well as the Estero Country Club Ladies Golf Association. Most of all, she loved to be with her family, especially her grandchildren. A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
