1961 classmate Marjorie Wise Cripe, 78 of Ocala, Florida passed away on Sunday, Sept 12, 2021 at The Bradley House for hospice care in Summerfield, Florida. Marjorie died from complications of dementia. Marjorie was born on August 9th, 1943 in Elkhart, IN to Harvey and Mildred Wise. Marjorie married Gerry D, Cripe on June 10th ,1961 in Elkhart. Marjorie managed the Concord High School cafeteria for many years while her children attended school and was an active member of the Concord Adult Booster Club.
In 2001, Gerry and Marjorie retired to Ocala, Florida where they lived until her death. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 10th, 2021.
Surviving are her husband Gerry, two daughters, Jorie (Dave) Smetana and Julie (Norm) Borntrager., six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Marjorie has one surviving sister, Marilyn Wise Ball. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings.
