Janet Ellen Bayes passed away July 6th,2022. Janet was a seamstress, a wonderful baker and an avid NASCAR fan. She loved her pets and going on camping trips. She was a code enforcement officer for over 30 years for the Elkhart Building Dept. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Elaine Jones Caldwell. Janet is survived by her children, Dan (Martha) Bayes and David Bayes, a brother Tom, (Becky) Jones 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
