Jeffrey C. Drummond, 80, of Bristol, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday June 22, 2023 at his home. He was born on December 12, 1942 in Elkhart to the late Delford J. and Florence M. (Stout) Drummond. On March 20, 1993 in Elkhart, Jeff married his best friend Carol A. Hummel. Surviving is his wife of 30 years Carol A. Drummond; three sons, Jeffrey C. (Linda) Drummond Jr. of Syracuse, Jason D. Drummond of Elkhart, and Scott C. (Erica) Drummond of Ft. Wayne; seven grandchildren; Nicole Drummond and husband Andrew Dearling, Elaina Drummond, Max Drummond, Austin Cormican, Kenzie Griebel, Alyssa Anderson, Sara Anderson; great granddaughters Bowie Drummling, Emerson Anderson, Ellie Griebel, and great grandsons Oliver Griebel and Jackson Griebel.
Jeffrey was a 1961 graduate of Elkhart High School. He was the retired president of Drummond Advertising. Mr. Drummond was very active in the community. He was the Past President of the Elkhart County Mental Health Association, Past President of Elkhart Noon Exchange Club, past member of the Elkhart Rotary Club, past member and actor at the Bristol Opera House, Past President of the Elkhart Sports Car Club and Past President of the PT Cruiser Club of Michiana.
Jeffrey loved to hunt and was an avid scuba and cave diver.
No services are scheduled. Per his wishes, cremation was chosen. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. His final resting place will be in the ocean, on a reef near Florida. These special reefs (@Eternal Reef) are man-made and help to replenish reefs and support ocean life.
