EHS 1961 Classmate C. David Gableman passed away on August 24th at IU Health Goshen Hospital. Dave retired from Elkhart Community Schools. He also previously worked for Excel Industries and AACOA in Elkhart. Dave was a proud Vietnam veteran who loved his God, his family, Notre Dame football and his long time friends at My Dad’s Place restaurant.
He is survived by his sister, Sue ( Terry ) Montague of Elkhart, his brother John Gableman of Cassopolis, MI and several nieces and nephews. His parents preceded him in death.
