Mary Ann Ferro passed away on December 27th, 2022 at Hubbard Hill Estates in Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her husband George Becker.
Mary Ann attended Ball State University after graduation from EHS and graduated with a degree in nursing from Ivy Tech. Prior to her retirement, she managed several assisted living facilities in the area.
She loved to cook and also enjoyed reading and watching crime television programs. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family. Surviving is a daughter, Mindy Podawiltz of Woodstock, Georgia, two sons, Philip Podawiltz of Bristol and Chris (Sue) Podawiltz, also from Woodstock, three granddaughters, a brotherJim (Janet Ferro) of Elkhart. There will be no service as it was Mary Ann’s wish to be cremated and her ashes spread in the Gulf of Mexico with her husband George.
